Brighton & Hove want living wills and support legally assisted suicide
In our robust, representative, telephone survey of Brighton & Hove adults, three-quarters agree with legally assisted suicide for people who have a illness they are expected to die from. Support for legal assistance to die when suffering unbearably in old age is lower but there are still about two-thids who agree.
Both of these are currently illegal but these findings add to the pressure to change the law.
